Tangie products are CleanHub plastic neutral certified!
What does that mean? Great, question :P
When you buy a Tangie product, a portion of our profit allows us to support specific projects keeping ocean bound plastic trash out of the ocean.
CleanHub handles the vetting process when it comes to choosing the suppliers they work with in each area of the world. The local staff regularly visit the sites, and CleanHub uses their market position to enforce better working conditions for local workers. It’s a WIN-WIN!
Yes, this is a ‘paid for certification’, and I really dislike that kind. I cannot get the plastic neutral + certification without paying some money.
BUT, the money goes towards funding sites to pick up, sort, sell and recycle ocean bound plastic waste. This is a paid certification I can get behind!
CleanHub plastic neutral certification means that Tangie is doing its best to offset the amount of plastic that comes into the business, the supply chain plastic which we have no control over.
SO >>> I decided Tangie needed to find a way to offset this plastic waste and the answer is CleanHub.
I chose to work with the hub/facility in Goa, India.
Check out this page for Tangie’s actual plastic collection in real-time and in pounds.

Buying Clean Hub plastic neutral products, like Tangie, helps to support environmental initiatives around the world.
Not only does the use of Tangie zero waste natural products reduce the plastic waste in your own home, but your purchase is ALSO contributing towards reducing the amount of plastic waste that is polluting our oceans and beaches.
The oceans connect us all.
