How to Use Tangie Conditioner Bar: Solid, Liquid, Mousse, or Cream

The Tangie Conditioner Bar is incredibly versatile! Not only can you use it as a solid bar, but you can also melt or soften it into a liquid, mousse, or cream. 🌸🧴 Here’s how to get the best experience for your hair, no matter how you prefer to use it!
How to Use Tangie Conditioner Bar as a Solid Bar 🧼
1. Use After Shampooing
After shampooing, gently squeeze excess water from your hair.
2. Apply the Conditioner Bar
Rub the Tangie Conditioner Bar between your hands to create a creamy texture or glide the bar directly over the length of your hair, focusing on the ends. 💆♀️
Use more conditioner for thick, long, or dry hair where extra moisture is needed.
3. Massage and Distribute.
Use your fingers or a wide-toothed comb to distribute the conditioner evenly through your hair.
4. Rinse Thoroughly
Rinse your hair with warm water, leaving it soft and smooth!
To Make Conditioner into a Liquid 💧
1. Melt the Bar
- Cut the conditioner bar in half (about 1/2 ounce) and dissolve it in 16 ounces of hot water.
- Stir occasionally until fully dissolved.
2. Add to Container of Choice
Pour the liquid conditioner into a bottle for easy use. Shake before each application.
3. Use Just Like Normal Conditioner
Apply to wet hair and rinse as usual!
🌟 FOR BEST RESULTS: Settling will occur when you liquify the bar. Shake your spray or pumper bottle before dispensing the liquid conditioner.
To Make Conditioner into Leave-In Conditioner Spray 🛀
1. Melt the Bar
- Cut the bar in half 2 times, making 4 pie wedges.
- In a small pan, add 8 ounces of water, add one piece of conditioner bar, heat water until almost boiling, then turn off the burner.
- Stir occasionally until completely dissolved. It takes about 5 minutes.
2. Add to Spray Bottle
Cool, then pour the liquid into your spray bottle or pumper. It will work in both types of dispensers. Be sure to shake before each use!
⭐ PRO TIP: For a thicker conditioner to pour into your hand instead of spraying, add one more piece of conditioner bar to the steps listed above. Dissolve as many pieces as you like to get the consistency you prefer. (See instructions below for making a conditioner cream.)
To Make Conditioner into a Mousse 🫧
1. Soften the Bar
Cut a small portion of the bar and soften it in a small amount of warm water (try about 2 tbsp at first and add more as desired).
2. Froth the Conditioner
Whisk and whip the softened mixture to create a light, fluffy mousse texture. You can do this by hand or with an electric mixer.
3. Use Conditioner Normally
Massage the mousse into your hair, focusing on the ends. Then rinse thoroughly.
👉 NOTE: You can pre-make and store the conditioner liquid for making a mousse, but since Tangie conditioner bars don’t contain stabilizing ingredients, the foam will not hold in storage. You’ll need to whip up your mousse fresh on demand.
To Make Conditioner into a Cream 🧴
Soften the Bar
Melt a piece of the conditioner bar in warm water, but use less water than for liquid or mousse.
You might want to use a double-boiler method on the stovetop to keep the amount of added water low while applying heat.
Stir the Conditioner
Whip the mixture into a thicker cream consistency with a whisk and apply it to your hair.
Leave-In Treatment
Leave the cream in for a few minutes for a deep conditioning treatment, then rinse.
