Introducing the Tangie Dish Soap Bar, twice the size of our original dish washing soap, yet made with the same effective ingredients!
Our dishwashing soap cuts through tough grease with the power of salt! This strong grease-cutting formula cleans effectively, easily removing food and oil from all your kitchen items while picking up germs and washing them away. It rinses clean, leaving glasses virtually spotless.
We believe in avoiding scented dishwashing products because we don’t want our dishes or utensils to smell like flowers, mountains, or rain. This is a scent-free, fragrance-free 7-ounce dishwashing soap bar.
Salt is a highly effective ingredient. When it meets water, it creates a saline solution that breaks down protein-based messes, making it a fantastic choice for zero-waste dish soap.
Made with 5 natural ingredients (+ LOVE), this zero-waste dish soap bar keeps your hands feeling soft while the sea salt cuts grease and grime quickly and effectively. An easy rinse means less work for you and less water used while washing your dishes.
Solid soap bars are a great eco-friendly alternative to traditional liquid dish detergents. Tangie solid dish washing bars are made with natural ingredients, including shea butter for your skin, are certified cruelty-free, and generate zero plastic packaging waste. Plus, they are just as effective as their liquid counterparts!
Tangie zero waste dish soap is the environmentally friendly option with no chemicals and no plastic bottle waste. It’s perfect for those looking to reduce plastic use and embrace a zero-waste lifestyle in the kitchen.
The size of the bar is designed to fit easily in a standard soap dish—no need for a special dish. The paperboard packaging is recyclable or home compostable.
Ingredients:
- Coconut Oil
- Saponified Sodium Hydroxide
- Shea Butter
- Olive Oil Pomace
- Sea Salt.
Using the Dish soap bar is super easy –
- Thoroughly wet your cloth, scrubber, or sponge.
- For Cloth: Place the bar in your hand and rub it directly onto the wet cloth.
- For Sponge & scrubber: Swirl the sponge or scrubber directly onto the bar.
Generally, a lather will not appear until you start washing the dish.
Wash your entire dish, rinse, and smile!
PS: Using a soft bristle brush head, like the Redecker brush head (dark color), results in quicker lather than using a stiff bristle brush.
Using a soap dish that holds the bar on two sides allows you to easily swirl your brush head directly on top of the dish bar without needing to hold it in your hand.
Keep the dish bar out of standing water between uses and allow water to drain away from the bar properly to extend its life.
Beyond the sink
When you need extra cleaning power for walls, floors, counters, shoes, etc., simply wipe a cloth or scrubber on the bar, work up the lather, and scrub the dirty area. Rinse clean.
Note on How To Use The Dish Soap
The Tangie Dish Soap Bar is quite firm and may be difficult to cut in half. If you choose to cut the bar, please do so carefully!
Test new materials in an inconspicuous area first to check for compatibility. The soap is heavy with salt and should be spot-tested before using on delicate fabrics and naturally dyed items. We do not guarantee compatibility with all materials.

Works great with baking soda to form a paste on greasy pans and clean them. Also use it to wipe down counters and table with a wet cloth. I do rinse the counters afterwards.

Love these dish washing bars! I use a knitted dish cloth and it works much better than liquid soap. (& no plastic!) For truly greasy things I sprinkle a little baking soda in the pan and it does the trick.

Good, effective dish soap.
The only area where it seemed less efficient than standard petroleum-based dish soaps was in cutting through grease. It gets greasy dishes clean in the end, but takes a little bit more.
The main task is to keep it dry in a container with effective draining so that it doesn’t break down and waste away too quickly.

A good soap dish is a key factor for this dish washing bar (as well as any bar soaps). We appreciate you pointing that out so others who may be considering using this zero waste dish soap can plan properly for its best use. Thank you for taking the time to leave a detailed review today.

Recently made the switch to Tangie’s dish wash bar and it was a superb decision. The bar lathers perfectly and is good even on oily vessels. Big fan of this bar and best part it doesn’t feel chemically like other commercial bars.
