Fixtone Purple Conditioner Bar By Tangie
This solid conditioner bar works to offset unwanted tones. Water opens the hair shaft, allowing the dye to penetrate and neutralize yellow hues. The conditioner seals the hair shaft, locking in the color and brightening your hair.

Emulsifier blend (Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Methosulfate), Cocoa Butter, Cetyl Alcohol, Coconut Oil, Glycerine USP, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Jojoba Oil, Lemon Oil, Lime Oil, D&C Violet #2, Gentian Violet.
It’s simple color theory: purple sits directly opposite yellow on the color wheel, so violet pigment visually cancels out yellow tones. When you wash, water opens the hair shaft and allows the purple pigment to penetrate, counteracting the yellow and brassy hues that make blonde and gray hair look dull. The result is brighter, cooler-toned, shinier hair — no salon visit required.
It’s also effective on “pool hair,” helping restore hair that’s picked up unwanted tones from chlorinated water.
Using a natural plastic-free shampoo bar is simple!
- Wet your hair thoroughly.
- Wet the shampoo bar and rub it between your hands or directly onto your scalp to create a lather.
- Massage the lather into your scalp and hair. Leave it on for a few minutes to let the pigment seep in, then rinse thoroughly.

Storage Tips: To protect your shampoo bar and extend its lifespan, keep it dry between uses. Store it in a soap dish or on a rack where it can dry completely.
Avoid leaving it in standing water to prevent it from dissolving quickly. Consider using a shampoo bar cloth travel pouch for on-the-go convenience. With proper care, your shampoo bar can last for several months!
Remember, this is a dye, so using it too often can tint your hair purple. Use it only when you notice yellow or brassy tones. It’s recommended not to use it more than twice a week. A few swipes of the shampoo bar may be all you need for ample lather—be surprised by its effectiveness!

I am 72 and I have totally gray hair, some dark gray and some whitish gray. Gray hair is dry and tangles easy. I used this bar of shampoo and I am so happy with the results!!
