Synthetic Fragrances: Often considered “trade secrets,” these fragrances can include phthalates, which are linked to asthma, headaches, allergic reactions, and potential long-term central nervous system disorders.
Parabens: Common preservatives in many cosmetics, parabens are suspected of being linked to breast cancer. It’s important to avoid products containing parabens, especially those applied daily near sensitive areas.
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) / Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES): Found in nearly all shampoos and cleansers, SLS/SLES has been extensively studied for its toxicity. Despite originating from coconuts, the chemical is not natural.
1,4-Dioxane: This known carcinogen contaminates SLS/SLES during manufacturing. It’s crucial to avoid products that may contain it.

THIS IS A GAME CHANGER!!!! How have I never seen or heard of a shampoo bar for my dog? This made scrubbing those hard to get spots on my dog so much easier. Instead of trying to get the liquid soap where it needed to be, I just took the bar and rubbed it. My dog likes to roll in stinky things and this made bath time a lot easier. One complaint is that the lemongrass scent is not very strong to almost nonexistent, so if you’re looking to cover up the wet dog smell, this isn’t going to do that. Either way I highly recommend giving this a try.

The feedback has been surprisingly amazing! Many of the pets had some sort of skin issue prior to being bathed with a Tangie shampoo bar.
